The short version: we collect what we need to get a shirt to your door, and nothing else.

What we collect

Order details. Your name, email, shipping address, and what you bought. You enter these on Stripe's checkout page.
Payment details. Stripe handles your card. We never see or store your full card number.
Emails you send us. If you write in, we keep the conversation so we can help.
Quote requests. If you ask for a group quote, we keep your email, the name and league name you gave, and what you asked for, so we can reply.
Fan photos. Only if you send one through the fans page. We keep the photo, the city, the caption and name you typed, and a record of the permission you gave. Your device removes location data from the photo before it's sent.
Your cart. What's in your cart, and your city if you tell us, are saved in your own browser so they're still there when you come back. They aren't sent to us until you check out.
Basic site logs. Our web host records standard technical info like IP address and browser type to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

To take payment, print your shirt, and ship it to you.
To email you about your order.
To answer your questions and fix problems.
To keep records we're required to keep, like sales and tax records.

We don't sell your information. We only send marketing email if you ticked the box asking for it at checkout, and every one of those emails has a link that stops them.

Who else sees it

Stripe processes payments and stores order details.
Our print partner gets your name, shipping address, and order by email so they can print and ship your shirt. They don't get your email address or payment details.
Netlify hosts this website and stores our order records, quote requests and fan photos.
Resend sends our order emails to the print partner. [CONFIRM]
The shipping carrier gets your name and address to deliver the package.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for taxes, accounting, and handling returns. [CONFIRM]

A fan photo stays up until you take it down or we do. Take it down yourself on the fans page with the two codes you got when you sent it. The picture is deleted right away.

Your choices

Want to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you? Email hello@thisisouryear.team [CONFIRM] and we'll take care of it, except for records the law requires us to keep.

Kids

This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Fan photos are sent by adults. If a child is in a photo, the person sending it confirms they're that child's parent or guardian, and we ask them not to include the child's name.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top.
